From the Library – Take Home Some of Our Maker’s Lab Equipment Today
Are you interested in using some of the equipment from our Maker’s Lab at home? If so, we’ve got some good news for you…
Beginning today, the following equipment can be borrowed from our Maker’s Lab for home use:
- Cassette-to-MP3 Converter
- USB Microphone
- Sewing Machine
- Oculus Go VR Headset
To borrow any piece of equipment from the Maker’s Lab, you must be at least 18 and have a Library Card in good standing. You may borrow one piece of equipment at a time for a period of one week. Equipment may be renewed up to two times as long as there are no holds.
We are also once again accepting print requests for the 3D Printer. Our 3D Printer is compatible with STL, OBJ, and 3MF file formats, and printing costs include a flat fee of $2 per job plus $1 per meter of filament.
To request any equipment from our Maker’s Lab or to request a 3D print job, please visit IrondequoitLibrary.org/makerslab and fill out the Contact Form. A member of the Maker’s Lab Team will let you know if the item you are interested in is available and set up a time for you to pick it up.
