
The family of author Kim Bixler owned the Edward E. Boynton House, which was designed by famed architect Frank Lloyd Wright, from 1977 to 1994. She will present The Women Who Loved Frank Lloyd Wright, a special multimedia program about the women that shaped the life of Wright… from his mother, to the wife of six of his children, to his mistress, to the woman who helped resurrect his career.
Kim Bixler’s latest book is Growing Up in a Frank Lloyd Wright House. She was featured in the PBS documentary Frank Lloyd Wright’s Boynton House: The Next Hundred Years and has appeared on NPR’s Here & Now in conjunction with Wright’s 150th birthday celebration.
The Women Who Loved Frank Lloyd Wright will be held online through Zoom on Monday, June 14, at 6:00 PM. Registration with an email address through our Event Calendar is required, and participants will receive an email with the login information for the Zoom meeting.
