We’ll be joined every Friday in August (8/6/21, 8/13/21, 8/20/21, and 8/27/21) from 6:00 PM until 6:45 PM by Kasia Pelepko of Now: Yoga & Movement for Outdoor Yoga for Adults.
The movement in this four-part series will be taught through the lens of yoga asana (shapes that look a certain way on the outside) and some somatic techniques (what you perceive from the inside). We’ll also focus on other aspects of yoga including breath work, concentration, and meditation. Each class will end with some satisfying stretches and savasana (resting pose) to allow for some integration and rest.
Each week, we’ll explore connections between different areas of the body to encourage more options for movement, starting from the feet (Week 1) and going up through the hips (Week 2), the spine (Week 3), and finally the head, shoulders, and neck (Week 4).
Please register for each session through our Event Calendar, and please bring a yoga mat, blanket, or towel with you, as well as any props that you would like (such as a block or strap).
