From the Library – Monroe One BOCES Will Offer High School Equivalency Diploma Preparation Classes (GED) at the Library
The Irondequoit Public Library is partnering with Monroe One BOCES to offer free or low cost High School Equivalency Diploma Preparation classes for adult learners looking to take the GED exam. Classes will be held at the library on…
Monday – Thursday from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM and
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 PM – 9:00 PM.
This class will explore the five sections found on the GED exam (Language Arts – Reading, Language Arts – Writing, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies).
Classes are also customized for each student, focusing only on the areas you need help with:
Improve Basic Skills
High School Equivalency Exam Preparation
No charge to students for class and materials
Instruction specific to your needs, with learning centered on you
Work at your own pace
Not the usual formal classroom instruction: work independently and individual and small group instruction
Stress-free learning environment, distance learning option available
