From the Library – NEXT WEDNESDAY (3/23/22): IPL Genealogy Group – When the Wave Crashes Down: Key Search Strategies for “Surfing” the Internet for Your Ancestors

Dan Poffenberger works at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah, and he will present a class about search strategies for finding your ancestors online during the next meeting of the IPL Genealogy Group.

When the Wave Crashes Down: Key Search Strategies for “Surfing” the Internet for Your Ancestors will be a live presentation on Wednesday, March 23, at 7:00 PM, and will include a demonstration of the pitfalls with indexes and various ways of searching to work around these pitfalls. He’ll also take a chance on using these strategies on your ancestors!

This program will be offered both as an in-person event at the library and as a live broadcast over Zoom. You can register now through our Event Calendar to attend one or the other. Participants who choose the online option will receive an email with the login information for Zoom before the program begins.
