From the Library – IHS Student Collecting Donations for Mary’s Place Refugee Outreach (Until 4/15/22)

An Irondequoit High School student with the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program, under the American Field Service Organization, is working on a leadership project and collecting donations to help support local refugees at Mary’s Place Refugee Outreach.

Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study Program brings exchange students from all over the world to learn about American customs, society, and values, while also promoting mutual understanding and building community connections.

If you would like to donate, the following items are needed:

— Feminine Hygiene Pads
— Soap
— Shampoo
— Deodorant
— Toothpaste
— Toothbrushes
— Razors
— Dental Floss
— Diapers (Sizes 1-5)
— Wet Wipes

Donations can be placed in the box on the first floor in front of the Children’s Room. All donations will be accepted through April 15.
